Warranty

Annapolis Ford

Here at Preston Ford, your Easton Ford dealer, we want our customers to know what exactly is covered under the Ford Manufacturer Warranty. It is important to understand what is covered when you purchase your new Ford car, truck or SUV because you want to to be ready for anything that happens while you are out on the road. Every new Ford sold at Preston Ford, your Annapolis Ford dealer, comes with a New Vehicle Limited Warranty. The different components of Ford warranties are:

1) Ford Bumper to Bumper Warranty — This covers three years or 36,000 miles on all of your Ford parts. This includes all the parts of your Ford that fail during normal use due to a manufacturing defect in factory-supplied materials or factory workmanship.

2) Ford Extended Warranty — In addition to Bumper to Bumper Warranty, Preston Ford, your Easton Ford dealership, offers Ford Extended Warranty for certain auto parts and conditions. Your powertrain, safety restraint system, corrosion and diesel engine are all included on this policy. The coverage varies by model, so be sure to ask our experienced team if your particular vehicle is.

3) Ford Powertrain Warranty — Your powertrain is covered under an extended warranty for five years. This is applied to your engine, transmission, front-wheel-drive, rear-wheel-drive, four-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive.

4) Safety Restraint System Warranty — This is applied in the first five years for your safety belts and air bags.

5) Corrosion Warranty — Getting rid of your Ford’s corrosion — perforation only — is covered for five years, no matter your mileage.

6) Power Stroke Diesel Engine Warranty — The diesel engine of your Ford has an extended warranty of five years.
